Every year the car audio consumer waits with anticipation the release of Kenwood’s new mobile product line. Year after year they release new, innovative products and upgrading the previous years model. One such upgrade is the Kenwood KAC-7205. It is a 2-channel amplifier that is powerful enough for just about any set of speakers or subwoofer on the market. The most notable difference between this amplifier and last year’s model is the all black casing. It gives the amp a smoother look that will blend in the any vehicles interior. To enhance the cooling efficiency of the electrical components inside the amplifier, Kenwood has matched an aluminum heatsink with two cooling fans that will quickly and effectively remove the heat that is generated inside of the amplifier. For those that look to keep a factory look and stock stereo in their car, the amplifier is great for adding aftermarket components. The speaker level inputs will connect directly to the speaker wire outputs from any car stereo, making installation and OEM integration simple. In conjunction with this, the amp features signal sensing turn-on technology that will automatically power on the amplifier when an input audio signal is detected. For installers, this feature becomes especially valuable. A low-pass filter and bass boost adjustment located on the side of the amplifier make this a perfect choice for getting the best sound out of a subwoofer.
