Have you always wanted to be a grill master? Here at Sonic we love food and we love it so much that we now carry grills.  Just imagine cooking a big, juicy steak or shish kabob in your backyard while chilling with your bros or ladies.  Imagine being the life of the party by whipping up some baby back ribs with a plethora of side dishes that will entertain your guests to the max! Charcoal and gas grills are two of the most common grill types and are probably the only two types that you have ever used.  Summer is almost over but it’s not too late to get your grill on!

Charcoal Grills

One of the older and more traditional methods of grilling is by using charcoal.  The benefit to using a charcoal grill is that you can achieve a higher thermal temperature which is ideal for slow cooking food such as steak or lamb.  Charcoal produces more smoke then a gas grill which can make for a more flavorful taste depending on your preference.  It will give you the crispier and darker texture when you use it right.  Charcoal grills are a lot more simplistic and will usually cost a lot less as well.  They are perfect for taking camping with family and friends or inebriated tailgating.

Gas Grills

Hank Hill approves of propane and propane accessories

If you’re more like Hank Hill then you’ll probably want to go with propane and propane accessories.  By that I mean Gas Grills, of course!  Gas Grills are much more convenient and allow you to cook food much faster.  They offer much more control and will cool down a whole lot quicker than charcoal grills.  Gas Grills offer customization options such as rotisserie attachments, sauce warmers, side tables, spice racks, storage drawers and side burners.  You could probably find one with speakers and ipod integration nowadays!  Go with a gas grill if your main goal is to just cook a nice meal after a long days work.

We even  have our own BBQs here at Sonic every now and again.  Maybe if you’re lucky we’ll cook you up something good!  Comment below with your favorite BBQ or grilled dish!
