A jackhammer is one of the loudest tools known to man. Thanks to MTX Audio, car audio enthusiasts can now harness that type of power in a car amplifier. Introducing MTX JackHammer amps, a series of digital amplifiers that can provide copious amounts of power to your subwoofer systems. MTX Audio has always been known for its bass thumping products, and these powerful amps continue the tradition.
The JH600 is a Class D monoblock JackHammer amplifier with 1200 watts of peak power. Beyond power, JackHammer amps feature tons of user friendly features. For example, the built-in Active Fan Cooling technology differentiates the internal fan speed based on the volume level. As the volume rises and the amp pushes harder, the fan runs faster and cools the amp down when it needs it most. This helps protect your amp’s circuitry from heat and prolongs the life of your amp. Another great feature of the JackHammer amplifiers is their stackable design. The unique JackStands allow you to mount up to three amplifiers in one vertical stack. This helps save space as you add power to your vehicle.
A smaller version of the 600 is the JH300 Class D monoblock amp. It produces half of the power but it also contains all of the JackHammer series features. Like the 600, it is stackable and has built-in active fan cooling. Another cool add-on is the wired bass remote, which gives you bass level control. The slick black and silver design is sure to impress and is likely to to go well with most interiors.
Whether you have a stock radio or an aftermarket stereo, JackHammer amplifiers will easily integrate with your system. These amps do not interfere with your regular factory steering wheels controls or navigation. Further, these amplifiers will not cause your FM radio or iPod modulator to produce static. In addition, JackHammer amplifiers are digital amps, which means they run extremely efficiently and that they will produce less distortion overall.
MTX Audio also offers some great JackHammer loaded enclosures to pair with these amplifiers. The JH4512A is a ported enclosure loaded with a 12” subwoofer. This loaded sub box can handle 250 watts of RMS and is designed to withstand the deepest of bass thumps. Another option is the JH4510X2D, which features two 10” subs loaded into a vented box for 400 watts of RMS power. Once you power these subwoofers you will know why the series is named JackHammer. Adding one of these bass packages to your car is sure to satisfy all of your bass needs.
