Factors that Went into my Decision
There are a few different factors that I had to consider when deciding which Monoblock amplifier delivers the best experience for that price point. One of the most important factors to consider is the amount of power it puts out for a subwoofer. Another factor to consider is the physical size of the amplifier. There is a large range on the price of these types of subwoofers, but the price range I am going to focus on in this article is under $200.
My New Favorite Monoblock Amplifier
One of my favorite new amps that we offer is the NVX VAD10001. This Class D Monoblock amplifier has a power rating of 1000W RMS. Surprisingly though however, this amp is all packed into an incredibly small chassis. We tested this amp and it honestly blew us away. In our test it put out over 1200 Watts. This amp has a Heavy-duty aluminum alloy heat-sink and Preamp RCA outputs to daisy chain multiple amps. Right now, you can buy this amp for only $179.99. We are even running a promotion, for a limited time, during tax season for an extra 10% off.
There are few other amps currently available that can deliver that amount of power for a price like that. This subwoofer is also very multi-functional because it is Marine certified and it has a Conformal Coated Marine grade circuit board. Therefore, it can be used in pretty much any application.
There are many other quality options available at this price point; however, I felt that the power delivery and the small chassis makes this amp too hard to pass up. Another great option I would recommend though would be the Hifonics Brutus BRX1516.1D Monoblock Amplifier. This amplifier actually offers 1500W RMS just in a larger package. It still comes in at only $169.95.
