“Worth Every Penny!!” – ★★★★★
This sub is really expensive so it might turn a lot of people away. But for those looking for high quality stuff that isnt going to crap out once you turn your volume up, jl is the way to go. In terms of performance this sub gets really loud in the custom ported box i have for it. it sounds like two 13 w1’s in a sealed box loud wise. it carries farther so it seems louder and it reproduces notes on a level on its own. the lows are as deep and as clear as you’re gonna get and it hits every note subs are supposed to. my subs take a toll because i use them for every day use and i like my music to pound. i have this sub wired at eight ohms hooked to a rockford 1000 bdcp with the gain at five and it takes it like a champ and performs like the hype says it should.

I bought one of these subs for my Nissan Armada, being powered by a JL amp and this 12 inch sub rocks. I have it in a sealed box and you can hear me from blocks away. I would highly recommend this sub and any JL product for that matter. It is all I ever use and JL has never done me wrong. For a $200 subwoofer driver, this piece is one of the most accurate in its price bracket. What does it do for you? It creates a listening pleasure like no other, whether you listen to classical, rock, pipe organ, or any other genre of music, this speaker delivers. Its quick response is well appreciated. I would or could go on and on about the different setups and what yielded the most listening pleasure, but that would be highly selective to my ears. Bottom line is I would recommend this speaker on any given day of the week.

“Rockford Fosgate is back” – ★★★★★
This is by far Rockford Fosgate’s best middle range sub. Iv bin running 1 on a JL Audio XD600/1 and iv out bass/preformed some of my friends more expensive sub’s… not only that but the clarity and sound quality are mind blowing for a sub in this price range. Rockford fosgate have far out done themselves with this redesign. I pound this thing pretty hard in a sealed box and it never gets hot.. the dust cap only gets a little warm but that tells me that the cooling design is excellent and keeps it nice and cool under stress. Iv bin running with this sud for 4 months now and I can’t be more happier.
